Security & No-Smoking Policy: We reserve the right to charge the account for loss, damage, excessive cleaning, smoking and pets. Any evidence of smoking on the premises, indoors or outside (except in a guest vehicle), will be cause to vacate immediately, forfeiting the cost of unused bookings. Fines may be incurred if evidence of smoking or flammable materials including candles are found immediately after checkout.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds: If cancellation is made at least 15 days prior to the reservation date, a full refund minus a $40 booking fee is given. If made within 15 days of the date, a 50% refund minus $40 booking fee is given. If canceled on the date of the reservation, no refund will be made. If canceled prior to the reservation date, we will waive the cancellation charge, except for a $40 booking fee, if we are able to rebook. Every effort will be made to do so. Rescheduling of dates already confirmed will incur a $40 rebooking fee. No refund for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to power outages.
Support for Environmental Action: Individual actions and awareness are crucial to creating an environmentally sustainable world, but we believe that's not enough. There must be legislative and legal action at global, national, state and local levels, and such action requires collective work. So while we provide many organic and fair-trade products at the cabin, we extend that individual action. We donate a portion of our earnings to the Center for Biological Diversity and Environment Washington. We also donate a night's lodging to the annual auction for the Nisqually Land Trust.
